Tutorials and Guides

By flame, By breath

By thread, by knife.

I call my energy back to life

No bond shall hold what's meant to go

No shadowed cord will steal my glow.

With sacred will and heart now whole,

I cut this tie and cleanse my soul.

So mote it be, I am now free,

My power returns.

I belong to me.

A spell for when you know a relationship is over What you need:

  • Quiet area, a protection spell first is a must!

  • Piece of cord, any length, but enough to be able to cut throughout.

  • A lit candle.

  • Scissors

  • Intent!

Repeat the incantation as you snip through the cord, as many times as you feel needed.

Snuff out the candle afterwards.

Throw the cord away, it's no longer needed.

Change the narrative

As a spiritual life coach, Jennifer, the editor reminds us that, we have to change the way we talk to ourselves, the way we treat ourselves and the way we think about ourselves.

You attract what you put out, so if you are constantly negative, and putting yourself down, you are training your brain to use that as your immediate go to.

Meditation

Meditation is simply about training awareness and achieving a healthy sense of perspective. Start by committing to just

2 to 5 minutes a day.

Find a comfortable, quiet spot, focus entirely

on the physical sensation of your breathing, and gently redirect your mind whenever it wanders.

Here we have found a great youtube channel to help

you learn and understand more.

Choosing a Tarot deck can be such a special moment, remember it doesn't matter how fancy, or how expensive they are,

its what calls out to you.

We do suggest to begin with, going for decks linked with Ryder Waite Smyth, first published in 1909, it was created by occultist

Arthur Edward Waite and brilliantly illustrated by artist

Pamela Colman Smith.

It revolutionised tarot by being the first deck to fully illustrate all 78 cards with rich, symbolic scenes. Most teaching books are used with these cards in mind.

Entrance Cleansing

Smoke of air, Fire of earth, Cleanse and bless this home and hearth. Drive away all harm a

Perfect little incantation to use in windows and

doorways/entrances to ward off evil and negativity.

We use incense sticks, or smudge sticks.

Drawing with the stick the shapes of the doorway/window, and filling the gap.

Salt is always a great way to protect also. Do a circle around your property, or semi circle if you are in a joined house, from one side to the other, back and front. It doesn't have to any particular salt, normal table salt is fine, and cheap too.

It's always more about the intent.
